The solid wood base of the Mono central dining table is cut from a trunk and positioned centrally. In the cut-out table top, the column shows its living natural features such as drying cracks and annual rings. The solid wood tabletop has a hand-flattering surface with naturally pronounced markings. In contrast, the trunk stands on a rectangular base plate made of powder-coated steel or oiled raw steel with deliberately visible manufacturing marks. Characterful and honest natural features characterise this impressive dining table.
Table with central base. The solid wood base is cut from the full trunk. The table top is cut out. The front edge of the central foot is visible. The top is held by an angle frame. With rectangular steel base plate, powder coated. Felt glides under the base plate.
Board-glued ASCO table tops are made of individual continuous 8-15 cm wide solid wood slats glued together lengthwise. The woods are carefully sorted and selected, creating a naturally balanced character and giving the solid wood table top its harmonious overall appearance. Viewed from the front, alternating horizontal and vertical annual rings are visible, which show an attractive wave pattern.
