Solid Wood
rustical
Solid wood panels with the addition of rustical have visible natural characteristics such as knots or sapwood. Slight dry cracks cannot be ruled out here. Knotholes and dry cracks are filled with a graphite-coloured polyester resin. In addition to a smooth table surface, two brushed surface variants are also possible: open-pore brushed with a relief depth of up to 0.5 mm and structured brushed with a relief depth of up to 2 mm. The unique historical oak is a table surface with a strong character that has been shaped by time. Manufactured from old oak beams of historic half-timbered houses with the charm of the past. The natural characteristics of the darkened historical beams have been worked out according to traditional craftsmanship. Bolts, cracks, knotholes and uneven surfaces are deliberate and characteristic. Sharp-edged holes or cracks are softly milled off.

RohDesign
Solid wood table boards denoted “RohDesign” are glued from three planks with pronounced hand-carved wood features. Sapwood is removed, while natural features such as swirls in the wood and visible knot holes are specially emphasised. Dry cracks are very likely to occur here. As an option, further cracking can be countered though the incorporation of a handcrafted dovetail. The width varies from approx. 95 cm to approx. 100 cm. These table tops are unique pieces and cannot be reproduced. It cannot be ruled out that in the event of increased heat flows crack formation will increase. RohDesign tops are always delivered with handcrafted wanes. The following versions are possible:

RohDesign Crosswood
The naturalness of the urban RohDesign panel is evident in the traditionally brushed and, if desired, fired, oiled or pigmented surface. The natural wood characteristics of the RohDesign solid wood tabletop, which is glued from three planks, are strongly emphasized by craftsmanship. Table tops made of two planks are available at extra charge. Sapwood is removed, but natural features such as swirls in the wood and knotholes are emphasized. Drying cracks are very likely here. The width varies from about 95 cm to about 100 cm. These boards are unique and cannot be reproduced. Here, it cannot be ruled out that cracking will increase with increased heat input. Each raw design panel is fitted with an axe according to traditional craftsmanship. All raw design solid wood qualities are textured brushed and oiled in a 2 mm relief depth.

Natural stone + concrete
The natural stone table tops used for selected models are made of marble limestone from Europe. The deep dark Nero Marquina with light contrasting veining is mined in Spain and is a natural stone with an unusual black coloration. The light Bianco Carrara from Italy is probably the best known and most classic natural stone worldwide. This is a fine-pored, white to grey marble with multi-faceted structures and textures. Natural stones are different in structure, contrast and veining - each slab is unique. The free formability of the hardened concrete enables an independent product design. The special ASCO surface of the artificial stone is based on a special ratio of water, cement and sand. The small osmotic bubbles in the concrete used for the ASCO furniture are deliberately brought out, as they emphasize the strength of the table's character.

Laminate
HPL boards or also called compact boards have a thickness of 13 mm. They are white and have a white core.
HPL white
A robust and resistant laminate made of paper foils laminated with up to 60% resin and pressed with a cover foil under very high pressure. Scratch and impact resistant, very robust and therefore an ideal material for table tops or even shelves.
Metal + Lacquer
For our painted metal surfaces we use an electrically conductive steel which can be coated with high-quality powder lacquer in various colours. By enriching it with a special granulate, a fine, structured surface is created, which is also very resistant. Whether timeless with brushed stainless steel or raw and urban with oiled raw steel - the variety of metal surfaces underlines the individual taste.
