Dining table
Design
Götz Ladendorf
Honest materials and a focus on the essentials. The clear architecture of the T_Table stands out in the extremely thin, filigree-looking steel cheek - the side view is the namesake of this expressive dining table. The sword is flush and inconspicuously welded to the heavy base plate. Through the formative symbiosis of wood and steel, the T_Table plays to different interior stages in contrast or harmony.

Qualities and dimensions
Glue-laminated planks
Board-glued ASCO table tops are made of 9 to 14 individual continuous 8-15 cm wide solid wood slats glued together lengthwise. The woods are carefully sorted and selected, creating a naturally balanced character and giving the solid wood table top its harmonious overall appearance. Viewed from the front, alternating horizontal and vertical annual rings are visible, which show an attractive wave pattern.
Three planks glue-laminated
Traditionally brushed and, upon request, charred and oiled surface. The natural wood grain of the solid wood tabletop—made by gluing together three planks approximately 3 cm thick—is meticulously highlighted through skilled craftsmanship. Sapwood is removed, while natural features such as wood grain patterns and visible knotholes are specifically highlighted and not filled with polyester resin. Dry cracks are highly likely to occur. These panels are one-of-a-kind and cannot be reproduced. Panels made from three planks are always delivered with hand-finished natural edges.
Crosscut blocks glue-laminated
A look into the soul of the tree. End-grain or face-grain is the term used to describe the areas of wood cut at right angles to the longitudinal axis, which show the annual rings as circles or circle segments. The liveliness of the elegant, expressive solid wood top made of 6 cm thick end-grain blocks in variable sizes is shown in the oak cubes cut lengthwise with a view of the annual rings. The individual elements are glued together and processed into a sustainable end-grain slab.
